Were You There?

This Jesus they crucified with three nails; one through the middle of each hand, and one through his two feet. They needed to make sure that this guy would not escape! Why? Because he had claimed to be the Son of God. Just one week earlier multitudes thronged around him as he rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, waving palm branches and shouting: Hosanna: Blessed is the king of Israel who comes in the name of the Lord!” They had been witness to and/or recipients of the thousands of miracles Jesus had performed in their midst. They knew he was no ordinary man. Although they did not understand the hundreds of prophesies about what the messiah had to go through and why, they knew he was a man of God, and they wanted to crown him king. (John 12)

Here now on the cross: “he is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isa. 53: 3) This is no pretty picture. This is the portrayal of one man on whom was placed every sin and every sickness that ever would be committed! “Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses” (mat.8: 17) and: “Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; …but he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we ARE healed.” (Isa. 53: 4-5). Yes, this prophetic verse foretold his crucifixion hundreds of years earlier. Yet, there in print it tells you that you ARE healed – in the present tense, as if it had already happened!

They then pierced him with a sword to ensure that he was dead, fulfilling the scripture: “They shall look on him whom they pierced.” (John 19) Many other scriptures were realized that day, including the power of forgiveness, as he spoke over his persecutors: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34) At the moment of his death the heavy veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom, giving us a symbolic direct access to the God. No more do we need to go through a mediator! (Mat. 27:51-53).

Standing there in your mind’s eye surveying the cross and looking upon his scarred, unrecognizable face and body, thank Him for your healing, and believe that you have it. Now you can look straight into his glorious face as, subsequent to his descent into hell, he was raised up by the Holy Spirit and is now reigning on high! He “spoiled principalities and powers (the devil), he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it” and He did it all for you! You can now live a victorious life here and with Him in eternity. He did it once and for all, summing it up with His very last words: “It is Finished.” (John 19:30)

Should I Ask Him Out?

I have a girlfriend that met a guy a few weeks ago, of course he did not call and she called me daily and asked can’t I at least text him. I always said no, wait. Yesterday he called, asked her out. She immediately called me. She was screaming over and over “he asked me out, he asked me out!”. When she was finally done, I said, “now wasn’t that so much better than if you had asked him?” She said “yes, yes”. Had she asked this guy out, she would not had that sense of victory, the knowledge that he truly wanted to go out with her. Such a great feeling and a key to laying the foundation for the rest of the relationship.

Now lets look at his feelings on this. Men like to be the hunter. They like to get what is not so easy to obtain. They are proud of their toys that they had to work for. If you ask him out, well you were easy and he had to do little work. This makes it all too easy for him and easy you don’t want to be. You want to be that which he values. You want him to have to step out of his comfort zone and make the move. It’s a chase. As long as you keep moving he will keep chasing, the minute you stop and be still or make his job easy, he will follow your lead and do the same. Don’t ask him out, be patient and let him come to you. This also lays the groundwork for the rest of the relationship.

Now suppose he isn’t asking you out. Well there is you answer right there, stop stressing over it. If he wanted to he would and if you ask him out still in spite of this, chances are good he is just going for lack of something better to do. It’s an easy evening. Nothing special because it required no effort on his part. So when you think, should I ask him out, think again. Think long term satisfaction, not instant gratification

What Were the Stimulating Factors in the Emergence of the First Human Civilization?

It is likely that the rise and development of farming was the stimulating factor in mass organisation of people. By 6000 BC, farming settlements were dispersed around the Middle Eastern from Egypt to Iran. Most were small villages while others, like Jericho, were the size of small towns. Jericho was situated in a large oasis of around 10 acres of mud-brick homes surrounded by towering walls holding a population of around 2,500 people. Water tanks were used for irrigation and there was a massive stone tower for defence.

In about 6000 BC, irrigation began to be used around the Zagros mountains where farmers combined to dig tanks to store water with ditches channelling it to fields in the growing season. Using this method they were able to keep their fields well watered for long periods and thus increasing their yields of crops.

The plains around the south of Mesopotamia have rich soils deposited by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers over the period of thousands of years. Using irrigation they were turned into highly productive farm lands able to feed large populations.

Archaeological discoveries can trace the growth of early southern Mesopotamian communities from 6000 BC all the way to historic times showing how they developed from their growth from farming villages into the first cities in history over a period of two and a half thousand.

Is He the Cheating Kind? A Quiz

What type of man is most likely to cheat?

Ruth Houston, infidelity expert and author of Is He Cheating on You? – 829 Telltale Signs says, “Some men are more likely to cheat than others. You can tell by looking at certain things in their background, their past history, or certain character traits.”

What about the man in your life? Is he the cheating kind? The questions below will help you rate your mate to see if you’re involved with a potential cheater.

Questions

1. Does he thrive on adventure?

2. Did he have a great deal of sexual experience prior to your relationship?

3. Does he have lots of female friends?

4. Does he have male friends who are cheating on their wives or girlfriends?

5. Does he have a parent who cheated?

6. Did he cheat in any of his past relationships?

7. Does he feel that infidelity is really no big deal?

What your answers mean:

1. Some men enjoy all the suspense, deception and intrigue that accompany infidelity. They’ll cheat just for the “thrill of the chase.”

2. Studies reveal that men who were extremely sexually active before settling down in a committed relationship are more apt to engage in sex outside that relationship. Don’t expect a leopard to change his spots.

3. Close friendships with women are a common starting point for infidelity. Friends can quickly turn into lovers. The closer the friendship, the greater the odds that it will develop into an affair.

4. Never underestimate the power of peer pressure. If his friends are cheating, he’ll soon be cheating too.

5. Infidelity tends to run in families. Children of unfaithful parents are often programmed to follow in their footsteps, considering infidelity to be the norm.

6. “Once a cheater, always a cheater.” There are exceptions, but statistically speaking, if he cheated once, he’s more apt to do it again. His history will probably repeat itself.

7. If he doesn’t believe that infidelity is wrong, his behavior will reflect his beliefs.

Generally speaking, the more “yes” answers, the greater the likelihood that he will cheat. But some answers carry more weight than others.

Read on to find out how to evaluate your answers and get a FREE TIP SHEET on “How to Handle a Potential Cheater.”

Evaluating Your results:

If you answered ‘yes’ to #1, #2, or #5 (but not all three), he’s a POTENTIAL CHEATER who will probably cheat if the opportunity presents itself.

If you answered ‘yes’ to #3 or #4 alone, together, or in combination with #1 or #2, he’s a COMMON “GARDEN-VARIETY” CHEATER who will cheat if he feels he can do so without getting caught.

If you answered ‘yes’ to #6 alone or in combination with #1,#2, #3, #4, or #5 you’re dealing with an EXPERIENCED CHEATER who’s probably good at covering his tracks. Watch him like a hawk.

If you answered ‘yes’ to #7 alone (this one’s the biggie) or in combination with any others, you’ve got a HARD-CORE CHEATER on your hands who may already be having an affair. Make sure you know how to recognize the telltale signs. Visit http://www.Is-He-Cheating-On-You.com for more information on the 21 categories of telltale signs.

“Even you only have one ‘yes’, Houston warns, “there’s still cause for concern, but there are certain precautions you can take.”

How Do I Build My Affiliate Website?

Not everyone can build a website

Just because you have a bigger budget than most other new affiliate marketers and can hire a web designer, does not necessarily guarantee getting the most perfect affiliate website. Sometimes web designers can get too carried away by theri own ideas and colors and forget that affiliate websites need to have clean valid code which helps speed up the load time as well as onsite search engine optimization.

Presentation

Remember that a good quality affiliate website focuses more on content than anything else so spend more effort in providing information that is both useful, and relevant to your audience. Good content makes a big difference and encourages your visitors to click on your affiliate marketing links.

Keep your designs simple and attractive and keep banners to a minimum on your web page as it can prove over bearing and annoying to the visitors. Use text navigation instead of graphics navigation like your sitemap that provides good visitor experience as well as help in SEO.

The Ideal Page layout

Do you prefer a website that is cluttered with ads all over the website or one which has been built as a sticky website. You definitely like the latter if you like many visitors to look at it and get attracted by the good contents you have written. You do need to keep your visitors longer on your website before they can be persuaded to buy your products or services.
